Call for Papers
The International Conference on Rural Development and Entrepreneurship (ICORE) stands as a biennial collaboration between Universiti Utara Malaysia, Hebei University, and Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. The central theme of the conference revolves around rural development and entrepreneurship, with a comprehensive exploration of topics ranging from economic development and rural tourism to environmental sustainability, social dynamics, and the latest innovations in information and communications technology (ICT). For ICORE 2024, there is a steadfast dedication to fostering sustainable, resilient, and inclusive development, aligning closely with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of No Poverty.
Objective
ICORE 2024 will serve as a platform for the participants, consisting of academic institutions, research organisations, government agencies, policymakers, public policy advocates, non-governmental organisations (NGO), and corporate representatives, to exchange ideas and experiences in developing rural areas, in addition to building an academic network.
This conference also serves as a meeting point and an opportunity for the participants to exchange ideas and disseminate new research findings, which can be used for future research and policy formulation. It is also in the best interest of the organiser to further generate innovative thinking pertaining to rural development and to identify elements of a long-term research agenda to fill critical gaps in knowledge on these issues.

Submission Guidelines
- The paper must be original and have not been previously accepted in any journal or under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Papers must be sent in MS Word format through this website (https://icoreconf.com/openconf)
- All papers must conform to the conference paper standard - single-column format set in MS Word Template (Download Template HERE)
- The paper must be written in English with a maximum of 10 single-spaced pages, including an abstract, references, tables, figures and appendices;
- Any additional page will be charged USD 20 per page.
- Abstracts without the completed paper will NOT be accepted.
